Excel on Accounting, the report on Documents, one approval — then a Monday automation.
Accounting · Automation
Every Monday used to cost half a morning: open the spreadsheet, split the lines, paste a report. In HandOff that became two agents, one approval, and a Monday schedule.
One request becomes a Task. Accounting gathers the numbers, Documents writes the one-pager, and mail goes out only after a person approves.
We kept the default Accounting & Finance and Documents & Reports agents. Each one only received the tools that match the role, then handed work across inside one Task.
The chat line was “close last week’s costs and draft a one-pager for leadership.” HandOff proposed Accounting → Documents → approval. Mail waited.
The finished Task became an automation: Monday 09:00, same prompt, same agents, same approval seat. People no longer rebuild the spreadsheet. They pass the numbers.
A half-day close is now one Inbox check after arriving. Classification lives on Accounting, tone lives on Documents, and only a person can send. Next week nobody types the request again.
